Jake Rosen, a member of the Brookfield Rotary Club and a student of Tantasqua Regional High School played an important role in organizing and running the sneaker and shoe drive at the school, in which new and used sneakers and shoes are collected to either be regifted or recycled for construction projects. To this end, the drive aims to deplete environmental destruction through the 43 years that sneakers normally spend in a landfill. This year, two car trunks worth of sneakers and shoes were collected!
We are looking forward to another successful drive next year!
The Rotary Club of the Brookfields and Planet Aid partnered once again to provide 23 extra- large bags of coats which were donated to the Clambox Coat Drive. The coats will go to help people in need this winter!

Though computers are becoming more and more essential in life there is still value in learning and using books.
