Rotary Club of the Brookfields Gets a Little Taste of Turkey

Rotarian Cenciz Sonmez of the Mersin Rotary Club in Istanbul visited the Brookfields Rotary and brought with him several short videos showing the wonderful parts of his country and its culture, history and cuisine. It was wonderful getting to know Cengiz, making a new friend and getting to know more about the country of Turkey.

GROUP HOME HOLIDAY PROJECT

Giving Holiday gifts of Personal Care Products and warm hats (some made or donated locally), gloves, socks, and small hand made snowman heads were donated by some young people. Country Bank and North Brookfield Bank for Savings of West Brookfield both donated money for the project. Cards were crafted by the Tantasqua High School Students. 56 Seniors living in homes from Palmer to Webster received a gift for the holidays!
