Educating the next generation about the benefits and importance of recycling.
QRHS Honor Students spearheaded its first "Environmental Sneaker/Shoe Drive Project" September 23- October 7. Partnering with the Brookfield Rotary Club and Planet Aid.
Our club likes to generate excitement by trying new projects that will help the people of the communities we serve.
Our club works hard during the summer months doing as many projects as we can so that we can rest when the winter weather comes.
Having a great group of Rotarians working as a team makes the workload less and more enjoyable for everyone.
Student Council held its 4th annual Sneaker/ shoe Drive headed up by Paige
Rosen.
The students did a fantastic job collecting 397 pairs of sneakers and other footwear for the project.
Partnering with the Brookfield Rotary Club and the Planet Aid to make this project come together.
The students learn by doing this environmental project how we can help our environment sometimes in what seems to be a very simple way but can have such a big impact not only on our environment, but, how it can potentially help others as a secondary effect
Help the Environment and help the people in need!
The Sneakers and Footwear that can be, will be refurbished and given to those in need. Those that cannot be, will be made into usable products keeping them out of our Landfills.
Brookfields Rotary Club and Planet Aid partnered together to donate 100 coats to the Clam Box Coat Drive in Brookfield, MA. The coats go to the Friendly House in Worcester, MA., where they will be given out on Thanksgiving Day to people in need.
Join us in making a difference in our community. Volunteer your time, donate to our cause, or attend one of our events. Together, we can create a better future.
At Rotary Club of the Brookfields, we work with the leaders of our communities to see how we can best help to meet the unique needs of each individual or family we serve.
This year we are pleased to have been able to provide the West Brookfield Bandstand Committee with a Handicap Accessible bathroom for their concert season.
The Handicap Porta-potty was essential. Hopefully a more permanent solution will be found. For now, a new a partnering has allowed many more to come and enjoy the concerts this year.
